Environmentally Responsible
Central Services has voluntarily decided to go green and become environmentally responsible. We support environmental awareness by encouraging recycling and waste management in our business practices and operating procedures. Every year we want to reduce our carbon footprint and participate in green activities. Central Services also informs customers about new technologies that will reduce greenhouse gases.
Parts & EquipmentÂ
Old parts and equipment are removed from your home by the technician. All items are brought back to our office, sorted and sent to the local recycling center. We also remove the refrigerant from any old equipment and send it for reprocessing. This keeps the refrigerant out of the atmosphere.
Packaging & Pallets
New parts and equipment are delivered on pallets and are wrapped with cardboard. All pallets and cardboard are sent in for recycling.
The Office
Special recycling receptacles have been set up to promote the separation and collection of computer paper, white high grade or bond paper, ledger paper, corrugated cardboard, and plastics. Source reduction decreases the consumption of valuable resources through such workplace practices as communication through computer networks with e-mail, posting memos for all employees, reusing paperclips, folders and binders, and reusing packaging material.
